Beginners and experienced beaders alike will enjoy creating this whimsical scissors holder as they learn to do simple bead embroidery stitches. In this class you will learn how to prepare a 3 dimensional fabric form for bead embroidery. You’ll learn to do back stitch, stack stitch, scales, tails and fins, plus how to line your fish when completed. You’ll practice all the stitches that you need to finish up Edward at home. No previous bead embroidery experience is needed, however basic sewing skills will be helpful in completing this kit. Edward Scissorfish will hold up to a 3 3/4" pair of embroidery scissors. For this class, a complete kit is included (required) at $65 (You can choose from more than one color). Bring your basic beading supplies to class, a thimble if you use one for hand sewing, and a pair of scissors suitable for cutting fabric. |
